Description
This is a high quality mounted and framed artwork that I created from a still life of a beautifully ornate golden dove, a black feather, and floral fabric.
Drawing and painting are truly my first love and like so many artists and designers, I gather much of my inspiration from what is around me.
I then go on to use these drawings to develop my designs for my textiles and my scarves.
Here I have used mixed media including gouache, ink, and in particular gold pastel which gives a lovely and delicate shimmer to the ornate dove. The delicate touch of silver on the black feather adds an elegant lustre. The backdrop is a floral design in soft marine blues that leads to the splash of deep red and subtle golds. It is mounted and framed in an A3 white wooden box frame, but you can easily change this if you wish, to suit your home and interior decor.
My artwork will also make an original and unique gift for your loved ones, interior designers and art-lovers alike. I have signed it too for authenticity.
